I don't think I need to go into too much detail. This year has sucked giant cheesy gorilla dongs. I'd hope for better things from 2016, but frankly, that's setting a fairly low bar.

I gots plans for the new year. I've spent a lot of the last couple of months under the duvet with a bowl of Haribos, and now it's time to start things movin again. Not necessarily because of arbitrary numerical rollovers, but it's a convenient marker point and I'mma use it.

This year sucked, but next year will somehow be better, because time is defined by arbitrary numbers assigned by flawed human beings.

Assumin I can get myself out of bed (I love my new duvet and it loves me—granted it would be nice to share it with someone every once inna while), 2016 is going to be the year of self-improvement. I've got myself a new shrink. The school is, frankly, dodgy: no peer review as yet, but it's interesting, I am cherry-picking the good bits like I do with any other model of therapy, and the only harm it can do is to my bank balance. Likewise with the mindfulness meditation, which, so far, practice has indicated that it's doing a reasonable job of helpin to hold my head in one piece.

I am makin stringent efforts to avoid flakiness and woo. I am keepin an open mind, but, hopefully, not so open that things fall out.

I am going to be happier.

And I'm going to get myself back to the homeland.
