My train leaves Euston at 20:23 so would be happy to meet for a pint nearby around 6 (the Bree Louise?).

Possibly? I don't think I've ever been there on a Friday evening. I don't recall it ever being unbusy, but also can't recall being unable to get served quickly, have a conversation or find a table.

TBH I don't know much about other pubs in the area as I've always opted to go to the BL, seeing as it's very close to Euston and isn't dire, like most of the places near Euston/Kings X.

Excellent. I'll be coming back from an outreach event in Wimbledon around four, will need to go to Imperial to drop stuff off first. So hope to be with you by 5:30, but depending on transport (it is Friday) it might be closer to six.

Augh. Sorry about this, but I'm going to have to cancel on you for Friday. :( Due to HH being ill and off nursery, I'm now only going to be in London tomorrow (Thursday) and will be taking the 20:23 train back.

I am in town today, but I have a meeting at 6:30 and I don't know when it finishes. (I do know that I will need a very large drink.)

Drat. I have only just seen this. I finished worj at 18:30. Am presently ensconced in the first class lounge at Euston (last minute ticket change meant it was cheaper than standard class. The mind boggles.). Anyway I hope you've found a friendly watering hole - I shall be off back to Brum in a few minutes. Sorry to miss you this time.
